A service tech has been to my house 3 times in 1 week. Its been determined that I need a new modem.
4 modems have been brought to my house and none work. I have also complained to Viasat every day with the lack of progress. Today I was told that my situation has been turned over to another company with different technicians and it will be 3 to 5 more days until an appointment is scheduled. So that is another approximate week totaling 2 weeks without internet service.
What a crock of bull. My biggest complaint is why do they not have enough equipment in their vehicles in case of having "bad" replacement parts. 4 modems have been tried and all 4 were"bad".
Then they leave with nothing accomplished for me and wait 2 days to contact me again. Unfortunately in my situation I have to use satellite based internet and they are considered the best in my area.
User's recommendation: if at possible avoid this provider.
