Viasat Complaint!

I’m sitting here trying to send in a complaint on Viasat but their little wheel keeps on going round and round! What a lousy company! 5 and 1/2 months to go and I’m Dropping Viasat as well as Direct TV! Both are terrible-so much for their “bundle”!

I have been with them since they were Wildblue. My service is good most days and evenings, even when I use all my tiny data that they offer me for a high price. They want $150 a month for unlimited data where I live. I told the rep *** No I won't pay that when they offer it other places for a third of that. Some evenings you can't even browse, once my measly 12 GBs are used. They are our only choice, otherwise I'd ditch it in a minute. I've been with them for many years and this is what I am offered. No loyalty for us long timers. :(

When they say "may prioritize speed behind others" when you get 60G they mean you will be lucky to get 1/2 of dial-up

Between 4-10pm the service is unusable. $200 dollars a month for service I can't even use when I want. They are crooks and frauds. Avoid this company like the plague.

In Dec '2017 we signed up with "Exede" … turns out ViaSat bought them out. The rep.

told me that my bill would be $179.00 total after the 3 month discounted period. The 4th month my bill was $185.00 I called and they explained that this was due to taxes and fees. I was ok with this as it was not much more than what they had said my bill would be. My service was for Unlimited internet and phone.

After about 6 months my bill went up to $203.00!! When I called to inquire this jump in price I was again told that this was because of taxes and fees. I am "locked in to a 24 month contract and there is nothing that can be done about the hike in price. Also my so called Unlimited Internet is by no means unlimited.

Their answer to that is "congestion" and prioritizing after using a certain amount of data. I will cancel my service the minute my contract is up!!!!

I had WILD BLUE A FEW YEARS AGO and had one problem with a bill one time which they promptly straightened out plus gave me a free month of service for the error and then I moved up in the sticks where there wasn't any internet service except Hughes Net and Exede so I, of course, went with Exede because Viasat bought out WildBlue and then Exede is their new satellite internet service that's faster than DSL by far and Hughes Net rots by comparison so...I have had Exede for a few months now and the service has never failed me once and it's very fast and I can play games and watch movies or do anything on line that I want with zero problems. Their customer service is efficient and very nice and I'd absolutely swear by them because THEY'RE AWESOME!! I would highly recommend both WildBlue and Exede to anyone as I've had nothing but positive experiences with them always. Thank you for the Quality Service!!
